Permanent Backups

A Permanent Backup, unlike the Temporary Backups, makes backups to removable media such as a CD, diskette, USB removable Flash Drive.  You can buy one of these Utilities for making Permanent Backups at the store, or you can buy the one from Roughneck.  Roughneck's Flash Backup utility listed in the Products section of our website (www.ruff.com) is optimally configured to Backup Derek data and you may find it easier to use than one you purchase "off the shelf".

The advantage of a Permanent Backup on removable media is that you still have the Backup if your computer totally crashes and all data is lost on your disk drive.
