Steps to Printing Operating Statements & Revenue Checks

Operating Statements provide the main Billing of Expenses (JIB) and Revenue Disbursement to Investors.  If you have a lot of Wells and Investors, these Statements can be quite lengthy.  Therefore, you should normally Print the Preliminary Reports to Verify your data before Printing all of the Statements.

This is the main feature of Derek and it has a lot of options for Operators.

Listed below are the 4 basic steps in producing Operating Statements and Checks.

NORMAL PROCEDURE FOR PRODUCING OPERATING STATEMENTS:

1.  Print or Display the 3 Preliminary Reports and verify that all data has been entered correctly.

2.  Print all Operating Statements for one company at a time.  These will be mailed to Investors.

3.  Print all Revenue Checks for that company.  Mail to Investors.

4.  Update for the Operating Statements & Revenue Checks for that company.  Nothing is updated (posted) in the files until this routine, so in case you make an error, you can repeat the process.

We will refer you to the Section of the Help System for the 4 basic steps in producing Operating Statements. Follow the directions for the TUTORIAL SCENARIO listed there.  Return here after completing, to continue the Tutorial.
